SENIOR BAND

The NYPBS Senior Band brings together some of the country's elite young players to broaden their experience and explore what is possible in a concert pipe band ensemble.

This band is made up of talented musicians who have played in some of the best adult bands in the world, as well as members of local community bands. They come together in a space where they are free from any affiliations and can enjoy making innovative new music in professional concert settings. It is all about having fun!

DEVELOPMENT BAND

Every year, the NYPBS Development Band offers young pipers and drummers world-class training and prestigious concert opportunities working on repertoire utterly distinct from the competition genre.

This ensemble creates a space for participants to broaden their musical experience and truly master the fundamentals of band craft and control over their instruments.

JUNIOR BAND

NYPBS Junior Band is our newest ensemble and is exclusively for pipers. This ensemble brings together talented players to enhance their ensemble skills, explore unique concert repertoire, and perform at prestigious venues. It's a fantastic opportunity for young musicians to showcase their talent and grow their abilities.
