Toronto Police 2010

In 2010 Toronto Police made some waves in the pipe band by playing this Medley at the Worlds in Glasgow Green. This was the first time that a Pipe band medley started without an intro E. The whole medley is based on a theme - Cutting Braken - and is that theme is developed throughout the medley.

The judges at the time really hated it and it came dead last! People were so offended that they were trying to do something different. What do you guys think 15 years on?

In 2008 Toronto police also played a really different medley - way more out there than Cutting Braken - it’s on YouTube, but they never played it at the worlds. You should go and check it out.
